Two Pattaya Gangs Quarrel Ends In Shootout At Restaurant

PATTAYA: -- Police arrested two men after they quarrelled with rivals at a Pattaya restaurant and fired shots in the air before escaping.

Pattaya, August 21, 2011 [PDN] ; Police Lieutenant Pallop Ringrod,Pattaya Police was informed about a gang fight and gunshots at a restaurant in Soi Umei next to Big C Express , Central Pattaya. At the scene they found an lightly injured teenager who was taken to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital.

Witnesses at the scene said a group people were attacked by a rival group who threatened to shoot them. They fired in the air and escaped from the restaurant on a Honda PCX motorbike. Later police found the troublemakers, Mr Sumrit Sudsaeng or “Jeab” aged 30 from Supanburi province and Mr Oopkum or “Chet “aged 27 from Kampaengpetch province. Police also found the gun a .38 caliber gun in Mr Pichet’s holster with the two bullets missing from the magazine.
