Hi, I have only seen a couple of wood bathtubs in my life, but my observations tell me that they are carved from one piece of wood for the body, I don't think you will find a teak tub in Chiang Mai, at least at a price you can afford :)

i did see one recently but not sure where-maybe jj market -it looks deserted now but still has a few shops.

but maybe another place.i had several requests in my long woodworking career but without going into the details i can tell you it is a lost (and expensive)proposition.
