Dont expect too much for 1000 php, only the basics, including a/c. I spent 10 days at the Ancestors Pension in Mandaue in February, 950 per night, no breakfast. It was ok, clean but getting old. I did look around but couldnt really find anything much better so stayed put. For anything decent you are looking at a minimum of 1500 per night, which might include brekky. There again i was only looking in Mandaue because thats where I wanted to be.

This looks like a inviting place

There's no beach in Angeles and it's way more expensiv than the OPs budget.

Also no point taking coal to Newcastle.

But there is sand around the pool! And the beds are bigger than king size.

I'd be very concerned about any Phils accom for less than PHP3,000 a night if I hadn't seen it.

When you look at the current conversion rate no wonder the 1000php places are not luxurious, especially in the tourist areas.:ermm:
