Need Cell Phone Recomendation

Featured Replies

I'm looking to buy a couple name brand phones for the wife and daughter but don't want to spend too much. However, I want them to have WiFi capability and also be able to do basic net functions like MSN and Facebook. Any recommendations and place on the net I can look to educate myself on the different phones and capabilities in BKK. I previously had a Thai Blackberry and it didn't have anywhere near the capabilities my USA Blackberry offered. There appeared to only be selected net applications available such as MSN & Facebook and that is all I am looking for now but cheaper yet still having a quality phone brand.

I was at the Samsung store tonight and the prices ranged greatly with some being as low as 3k which the salesman assured me will do what I want ... just not sure if this is the case.

Ask the 'salesman' to show you them working with what you want then you can judge yourself

Any phone running Android and having wifi will do. How fast processor and how big screen etc depends on your budget.

Also if 3G is needed check that the frequencies in the phone supports your provider.

Personally i would go with HTC, Samsung is good as well i hear.
