Not much going around at the moment, so lets start another fun topic. You see it all owning and running a restaurant, but what is the worst case of " Cheap Charlie" that you on TV have seen.

In the FC, we have had someone come in sit for a couple of minutes, pick up the days Bangkok post, fold it up and walk out with it under his arm. :o

We have had the Farang that brings his family for dinner, orders one meal and five plates. :D

The guy that liked the H.P. sauce so much, it left in his pocket, :D or the one that opened the freezer, took out a steak & kidney pie, and proceeded to stuff it in his pocket. :D

I think the one that took the bisquit though, is the guy that took his tea-bag out of the cup, wrapped it in a paper towel, and when he came back an hour later for another cup, ordered just a cup of hot water so he could use the tea-bag again. :D

OMG :o

I've only ever seen the ketchup on the plate of plain rice and the people who buy their own fruit.

Worst we had was a Thai family that came in their pickup loaded with 1)gas burner 2)charcoal cooker 3) food 4)ice box and proceeded to set up their little kitchen on our garden in front of their room. They obviously had money since they had a nice truck, everybody had an expensive phone and the kid had a laptop!

It still amuses me to watch backpackers in a bar/restauraunt, order the cheapest bottle of water and then sit at a table for 3 hours reading the Lonely Planet or writing postacrds before returning to bed at 9.30pm. Party on Guys!!!

Also there is a mate of mine that used to come drinking in the bars with me. If he had drunk more than his fair share of the check bin, then the bin would get split evenly. If however he had had the least amount to drink then he would pay his bill seperately.

Saw a german backpacker in Auckland who's last act before going to the airport was to go around the backpackers hostel trying to sell his remaining two packages of instant noodles.

But lampards stories of people stealing are far worse than just your usual tight dimwit who thinks saving 10 baht is the epitome of being a "traveller".

We get lots of Israelis who want a room with a/c and hot water for 300 baht a night. Annoying but guaranteed as soon as one walks into the place. Or the couples who argue over who spent 10 baht more.

We had a guy whose bill came to (can't remember the price but lets say) 165 baht. he gave me 160, and when I said "its 165" he had the nerve to say "Oh you want the 5 baht?". I said, "Usually, when you eat in a restaurant you tip you don't underpay". Kii nio Canadian.

I learned a long time ago, @ssholes come in all nationalities and sexes.

Could someone explain to me what is wrong with that?

Had something similar happen once. Guy throws down ( :o ) money on the counter, falling about 20 baht short of the bill.

When I ask him for it he goes, "The Fukc! Not like you can`t afford twenty baht!" (as I was living off my tips? :D ) and proceeds to turn around and walked into a post.

Knocked the wind out of him, and as I helped him up, I took the twenty baht note (out of his shirt breast pocket) and said, "Thank you!"
