partington Posted August 30, 2011 Share Posted August 30, 2011 I went to the Asia Books discount Book Lounge on 4th floor of the Amarin Centre (off Chitlom BTS) the other day, hoping to pick up a cheap (if slightly out of date) Lonely Planet guide to Myanmar. They used to be pretty good for that sort of thing, and you could get the odd decent novel at half price too. When I got there the entire place was empty of both shelves and books! There has been an Asia Books in there on the 2nd floor since the shopping centre opened a couple of yrs. ago, though not specifically identified as a "discount" location.
