Does anyone know how long it takes to process an 'O' type marriage visa at the Thai embassy in Singapore?

I am a British citizen, married to a Thai. We are coming to Thailand at the end of September for the birth of out son and I need to stay longer than the 1 month visa on entry.

I have prepared all the documentation necessary, but it is impossible to get in touch with the embassy there, nobody ever answers the phone or replies to email. My other option is KL, but they are just as bad!

Anybody out there ever had any dealings with either of these embassys??

Either location should be submit in morning and pick up next workday afternoon. You also have the option to enter visa exempt and then extend for 60 days to visit wife (cost is 1,900 baht at immigration).
