September 2, 201115 yr if coming from khon kaen turn right at the second set of traffic lights, just down the soi are a couple of thai /falang food shops
September 3, 201115 yr A couple of massage places. The Major Grand Hotel has a very nice massage place with aircon single rooms, jacuzzi (stairway on the right, up one floor or ask at reception). 2h oil massage 500, 2h incl. jacuzzi 1000 (!). Chiwin Hotel (on the main road) has one, not that fancy (large room with curtains). 2h Thai massage for 200. Another serious massage place is turning left at the second set of traffic light, then turn rigth opposite the temple entrance. Its a nice wooden house. Lots of certificates to been seen at the reception desk (2h Thai massage for 200). Not so serious massage: follow the road (side lane) towards Khon Kaen. After the amphoe and shortly after the big school there is a massage place in "green colors". Extras seem on offer. No passport office.
September 15, 201115 yr Today I visited a new place opened by an Aussie guy named Mel. He offers some good pizzas made from imported materials. Also let us taste some fine cheese and sausage (chorizzo style). The place is at the right hand corner when leaving Chum Phae towards KK, opposite the Amphoe area.
