Question About Visa Run

Featured Replies

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if someone can clarify and help me out.

Argentinian Citizen who on arrival to Thailand was stamped with a 90 day tourists stamp on arrival.

Visa runs out on Sept 11th (yeah i know what a date to have to fly on! ) however flight home isnt until the 9th of October

My question is obviously i need and would like more time in Thailand to bridge the gap until I leave on the 9th Oct, so if current visa expires on sept 11th would it be viable to fly to lets say Singapore the same day and fly back in on the same day?..or if my current visa expires on the 11th Sept would the only viable thing be to Fly out on the 11th and back in on the 12th?...I guess the question is can you fly out and back in on the same (last) day of your visa and get a new one?

Thanks to all who respond in advance!

P.S

------

The reason why i ask is that i have a friend who did a boarder run to Burma and went out on the last day of their stamp and got stamped back in the same day with a new visa!

You do not have or need a visa. You have a 90 day visa exempt stamp and can leave anytime before expiration and return anytime to get a new 90 day visa exempt stamp. There is no reason to go/come on any schedule.

Yes you can do it on the same day.
