One of the Bangkok institutions along with Thermae, it's a good place to go start or finish your evening in bars. OK not typ.Thai but Good price beer and if I can find a pub that gives it away for free I will say so.. Bamboo Beer Bar (Soi Nana 3), run by `Maltese'' John, sells 50 baht beer all day, all drinks 50 baht Sundays. A cabaret show and free buffet tonight from 9pm. Mosey on over. Last time I paid a visit was maybe 5 years or so ago but looks like a r/t sherbit in order. Good set up for both "Boozers" and "Padis" Cool Web Site. I think, but you do stand on the road. It has maybe 2 or 3 stools, so get there early. The Toy Bar is OFF limits to good upstanding individuals....know wot I mean -nudge=nudge. Finally ended up with old Mamasan (friend-honest) at Shadow which is now called something else bbbbbbut ...its what Bk is all about.Good tae be back...
