Featured Replies

Hi all

I have anon immigrant B vusa which expires on 18th October, I have appliedfor work permit some 5 weeks ago. Thesponsoring company don’t seem to be very interested in me at this time. I ring them up and am told “were stillwaiting etc etc” i am getting the impression they are getting cold feet ?

I amlooking to get retirement visa if this all goes wrong and I am not wanted inthis company,

I am 55,with a good uk pension (900,000 bht) per year, good health, documentaryevidence of pension that I can produce every year ( I get 78,000 per month)

How do i goabout changing to a retirement visa and how long would it take.

Is it worthgoing to one these visa shops and letthem do it for me? Or is it easy enough to DIY

Lookingforward to your replies

Many thanks

You visit immigration during the last 30 days of non immigrant visa entry and fill out a TM.7 form, attach a 4x6cm photo and pay 1,900 baht to officer. Copies of passport/visa/entry and departure card and evidence of address. No need to pay anyone as you have to do it yourself. For financial proof you visit your Embassy first to obtain a letter of more than 65k per month income or provide bank passbook with 800k in account two months or a combination of the two to meet the 800k per year requirement.
