Multi Million Baht Jewelry Robbery in Jomtien

PATTAYA: -- Opening Blue Sky Gems & Jewelry Gallery at Ten O clock on Wednesday, as usual, 18 year old shop assistant, Khun Neeepon, was amazed to discover that during the night, the shop had been broken into and robbed of its contents. Gem stones, including Blue Opals, Amethyst, Diamonds and other jewelry were removed by the thieves after they had cut padlocks to the security gates and forced open the doors to the shop. The thieves were quick-witted enough to avoid the security cameras by adjusting the view with a large stick. and the whole robbery was completed in under 4 minutes which would indicate some experience and planning. With a total loss estimated at around 7 million baht, Police consider this as a very serious crime
