I have a "O" multi that expires on the 12th of Jan.

I work abroad and am in a country where getting a new visa is impossible.

I plan to return to the Kingdom on the 28th of Dec and depart on the 15th of Jan.

Normally, and perhaps in this situation simply an entry stamp would cover me for such a short stay.

Should I be concerned at all about my visa?

You will receive a normal 90 day permitted to stay stamp. Your visa does not have to be valid to remain in Thailand; only for a new entry.

No when you enter you will get 90 days.
