Visa For A Family

Hi there,

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 childrens and are coming to Thailand to live in CM. No plan on working during the first year.

I plan to study Thai for one year and then study in CMU for 3 more year.

I couldn't find any posts on visa for a family, if one member has a ED visa.

Now, I know it would be easy to get visa during the 3 yrs in CMU and also during my Thai learning for me, but what about the rest of the family?

Should my wife learn Thai as well in order to get her visa? Or does she entitled for a visa a wife?

How about children? If they visit kindergarden, does this give them visa? What if only 1 children visits kindergarden?

It could not be done on visa entry but if qualified for extension of stay for study from Immigration family extensions of stay would be possible after that is obtained.
