This place is super close to the airport. Phuket Hotel

The Phuket Airport Hotel is ineed close to airport and looks like a decent place. Above all do NOT use the red tuk-tuks who have become a major problem on the island. I see that the hotel has shuttle service and claims to be good for early departures and late arrivals.

No red tuk-tuks near to the airport anyway. That hotel does provide a free 24/7 shuttle to/from the airport.

BTW, I'm not promoting my own business here - I sold it completely about 3 weeks ago - so the benefit of this recommendation is for the new owners :)
