Mann Khiao

Featured Replies

What does "mann kiao" mean? to hug? to embrace? How is it written in Thai?

It means 'lovely', not sure how to spell

I can't, with all due respect, agree that mahn khio มันเขี้ยว means "lovely". It means something like "so cute I could just pinch (it, you, him, her, it)" มันเขี้ยว

Yes, if allowed to use an entire sentence for translation, but i just came up with a word that would come close: bite-worthy/slap-worthy :)

yes, agree it means something like "so cute i could bite it" and is normally used when referring to chubby babies, your teerak's bum, and such like ....

My wife gets a 'glint' in her eye....followed by the statement "มันเขี้ยว" then some sort of pain, felt by me!

Now I know it means 'lovely' it won't hurt quite so much next time!

I think a reasonable English translation is "Good enough to eat"
