Burmese Gym worker wanted following bag snatch in South Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A Burmese worker at a local Gymnasium is wanted in connection with a bag snatch which occurred in a poorly lit alleyway close to Tony’s Fitness Gym on Pattaya Third Road in the early hours of Monday. Khun Sawanee aged 20 explained she was on her way home after spending the evening on Walking Street when she encountered a tall man who she initially thought was Indian. She agreed with him that for 1,500 Baht she would accompany him back to his room for the night. On the way there the pair walked through a poorly lit alleyway and the man placed his arm around her neck and snatcher her handbag. He then ran off in the direction of Jomtien. Inside the bag was 2,500 Baht in cash and other personal items.
