narkeddiver
Hi there, A mate of mine will be in Chiang Mai soon and as he will be there for a while he wants to get a 19" (or so) widescreen lcd monitor for his laptop Normally I'd pop in to Computer City or similar and get him a price but unfortunately I'll be out of the country until after he arrives Does anyone currently know how much these go for so I can let him know how much to budget for? Many thanks, Narked P.S. If this is better of in the computer forum please move it
Tywais
Should be able to get a 19 or 20" widescreen between 3k & 5k or even less. Tohome.com shows prices that you can use as a guide as they will be approximately the same price in Chiang Mai.

jkfkr
I just bought a 20" Samsung in the big shop on the third floor of Airport Plaza (IT City?) They had the non-full-HD version on a little sale for 3150 baht, which I thought was reasonable. So far I'm very happy with my purchase.
Yelly
Panthip has them reasonably priced on the second floor. ~2.5-3k
WinnieTheKhwai
Also saw a really awesome Samsung 23" 1920x1080 (full HD) for around 5,500 baht or so. Unbelievable, that's almost a reasonable TV size, plus LED monitor quality for your computer screen.. (Also at Panthip)

jackr
If he's a gamer, make sure to get high res, quick response time.
