Man caught with fake bank notes at market in Jomtien

PATTAYA: -- A man was arrested by Police late on Wednesday Night, accused of attempting to use fake bank notes to purchase a second-hand computer at a “Flea Market” in Jomtien. Police received an urgent call to attend the night market on the Tepprasit Road where the suspect had been detained by members of the public. Khun Jacknarong aged 26 accepted responsibility for the fake bank notes, which he claimed had been produced on a friend’s color photocopying machine. He was escorted back to his room in Soi Khopai in South Pattaya where a selection of copied bank notes, some cut, others still on A4 sheets of plain copy paper were found totaling 51,100 Baht.
