Danish businessman involved in fatal road crash in North Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A Danish business operator was involved in a fatal road accident on Monday which resulted in the death of a motorbike taxi driver. Police and Rescue Services were called to the scene of the crash involving a Black Isuzu D-Max driven by Mr. Michael Frederiksen aged 44 from Denmark and a Yellow-plated motorbike driven by Khun Nipon aged 60 who sustained a fatal head trauma and was declared dead-at-the-scene. There were no independent witnesses to the crash and according to Mr. Frederiksen he was driving in the right hand lane when the motorbike came cross his path, with the intention of crossing over the main Sukhumvit Road into the opposing lanes.

Very tragic and extremely sad for his family.......sadly it is not so suprising with the crazy way most of these taxi people ride their bikes<BR>They do not seem to realise that when they come along the nearside of pickups we cannot see their indicators until they are in front of us.... <BR>RIP
