GrandMasterRamRod
Hi Does anyone know of anything going on in Kanchanaburi for Remembrance Day? I know the war didn't end until later in this area but i thought it would be an ideal place to pay my respects. Regards, GMRR
Kwasaki
Never seen anything much done except on here, here's one of the best post songs IMO.
phutoie2
Nothing official is organized in Kanchanaburi but there is nothing stopping you going and paying your respects at the two war cemeteries in town. At Hellfire pass Australian ex- service organizations hold a service on the morning of 11th November. The museum staff have a lot to do with the running of this, military attaches from Bangkok attend and the Thai Army provide a bugler. A few years back there was a full pipe band. Its open to members of the public, best to be seated and down in the pass well before 11th hour. PM me and I will confirm its still on this year.
