I'll be applying for a non-o visa based on supporting a Child, just wondering if KL or Phnom Penh was easiest in the current climate, and what documents are required for a single entry? Also is it possible to get a multiple entry based on supporting a child, and if so, what documents are needed?

Thanks.

No embassy/consulate in the region will issue a multiple based on having a child, only single. But you might want to try if Savanakhet will issue a multiple, as there are a few recent positive reports from there regarding based on marriage.

Normally, the birth certificate clearly naming you as the fahter will be enough. If you can, also take a signed copy of the mother ID-card and a small note from her asking for a visa for you to take care of the child might be nice.

Thanks for that, there have been a few reports of next day issue of the visa, and some also saying 2 days wait, anyone with any current info on waiting time in Phnom Penh? Would an application done on a Monday be ready on a Wednesday?
