blackpanda
on September 19 i had a motorcycle accident. i didn't want to spend the money going to the hospital for a bag of ice so i decided to stay home and sleep it off. my CBR got messed up and wouldn't move so i took it to my local honda center and they adjusted my clutch. i didnt think much of it so i took the bike home and on my way home the bike started losing power and revving up with no power going to the rear wheel. i then took it back to the honda center and they keep it over night. the next morning they told me two of the clutch friction disk were messed up and i would need to replace the clutch disk and the springs. at that point i thought the bike was going to cost me an arm and a leg to get it fixed. i told them to just fix it. luckily i am on pretty good standing with my honda dealer and they gave me a discount. i ended up pay only 1300฿. How much have anyone on these forum paid for a new clutch? After fixing my bike i was told i look pretty beat up and a lot people advised me to go get checked out. i felt pretty bad to i took their advice and went to the hospital. at the hospital they took a few ex rays of my left hand and of my head. the results were that i didnt have anything broken only a few bruises. i had a big swollen left eye that looked like i got punched in the face. my left hand hasnt recovered yet and still bothers me to use it. my right thigh is yellow and purple. the doctor at the hospital told me that it would take me about a month to fully recover. he have me some medicine and sent me home. going to the hospital cost me 7,822฿. i know i have motorcycle insurance but im not sure what it covers. does anyone know what the insurance covers? thaicbr
Jeeeze where do you live that they charge over 7,000b for that? I had a fractured clavicle, 14 hrs unconscious. 3 days in hospital and it was about 4,000b. Mind you that was the local government hospital. But something similar to yours was about 1,200b at a private hospital near bkk. Fella you were robbed.

JSixpack
Why not just take your bills & policy to the insurance co. or its local rep and see what they'll do for you, if anything? That's all that really matters.
