I have a friend of mine coming in from the US in November and we would like to do a multi-day white water rafting trip over Nan way. We have done all of the best rivers in the US, including 2 private trips down the CO River through the Grand Canyon (21 days on the river...12 year wait for lottery, then...now it is almost 18), middle fork of the Salmon in N. Idaho (5 day trip), Green River in Utah (4 and 5 day trips) and would love to do some here in LOS. Has anyone ever done the Nam Wa out of Nan? Thanks ett

There's a couple of links here, may give you some ideas even if you're not planning on using a tour group.

No personal experience sorry.

I believe banjo players are scarce around Nan though. B)
