Marriage Extension

Featured Replies

Does the applicant have to own the residence (viz spouse), rent residence with contract if so how do this apply to renting an apartment/condo?

The requirement is that you live together wih your wife. Normally they will presume that you live at the address where your wife is registered on the blue household book. If that is not the case, they often want to see a rental contract to show where you are actually living. In the case of a first extension they will also visit you at home and/or inetrview the neighbours. Alternatively they will ask you to bring some neigbours to their office.
