We have received two back today both dual nationals & they received the visas.

Were they Irish/British?

I think the EC ruling only applied to dual Irish/British born in the North who had never lived in the Republic.

I can confirm Irish/British living in Northern Ireland & one in the UK.

I wonder when/if the UKBA will enforce the ruling; and how they will announce it.

The ECG still says

EUN2.16 Can family members of dual British / Irish nationals qualify for an EEA family permit?This guidance is under review due to a case being referred to the Court of Justice of the European Union (formerly ECJ).
