Rimmer Posted October 4, 2011 Share Posted October 4, 2011 Facebook prevents suicide attempt by wife of foreigner in North Pattaya PATTAYA: -- Facebook appears to have saved the life of a Thai Woman who posted on there that she intended to end her life. A friend spotted the message on the social networking site and immediately alerted the Police to attend the woman’s apartment located in Soi 18 off the Naklua Road. Rescue Services were also sent and it took officials more than 30 minutes to gain forced entry to the apartment. Lying in the bed in a semi-conscious state was Khun Alisa aged 35 who revealed she had taken an overdose of Valium Tablets. A letter addressed to her foreign husband, who had left Thailand 3 days before the incident, was found and neighbors revealed the pair would argue on a regular basis.
