I have produced a DVD called "Reef Life of the Andaman" and I have agreed to license it to a company in Spain for 3 years for the newsstand market.

The customer will pay an advance and (later) royalties by SWIFT transfer to my business account in Thailand, but first they are asking me to provide a "Tax Exemption Form". They say this document is to avoid double imposition and that it proves I pay taxes in the country I live and thus a lower tax percentage is imposed.

1. Where can I get this form and what is the form number?

2. Does anyone see why any tax at all would be imposed in Spain on this type of payment if I am paying tax in Thailand?

I can't answer your question but well done on the DVD, it looks great. Well done too on mangaging to market it, not an easy job I'm sure.
