November 11, 200520 yr I am sure this has been asked many times but can anyone recommend decent TEFL courses in Chiang Mai, at the moment I am looking at Chiang Mai University. The course starts in December but seems a little pricey? Thanks in advance. B
November 11, 200520 yr There's only two legit ones there as far as I know (although I've heard AUA's is there now?). The one you mention which is quite new (so no news really good or bad) and the Text and Talk one, of which I think there is info here. All the best, though personally I'd advise you to spend time in each (I'm sure they'll let you) and then choose the one that's best for you....you know so you make an informed decision and that! Good luck though and all the best!
November 19, 200520 yr Seconding the motion of kenkannif. How pricey is CMU's program? The websitewww.licmutefl.com says $US 1,200/ 45,000 baht. It's $200.00 cheaper than the CELTA. I would spend the additional $200.00. Edited November 19, 200520 yr by mbkudu
November 28, 200520 yr Illegal courses (teach in paradise) will not be promoted here I'm afraid. Edited November 29, 200520 yr by kenkannif
November 29, 200520 yr Junglebells you are referring to an illegal and uncertified course, this will not be tolerated. Edited November 29, 200520 yr by kenkannif
December 13, 200520 yr I am from Chiang mai born and raised and do not think that its pricey at all. A good education has no price. maybe yur just complain too much.
