Flooding Expected Between Bkk And Patters?

Featured Replies

Trying to assess how hard it will be to get to Pattaya from Bangkok (Ekamai or Mo Chit) later in the week.

What flooding? Must be a Bangkok thing.

Any assessment will depends on a few facts being known. At this stage, expected rainfall would be a nice one to have. I came in today and lot of water about in certain places near the road and it didn't look so bad

..as of Midnight last night 12/10 evacuations had commenced northern outskirts of Bangkok.

I got this information from the Transportation Information Centre that has been set up at Chiang Mai Airport courtesy of AOT.

They have a four hourly update service. There are also contact numbers in one of the attachments for CNX and BKK.

For yous information.

Ok, I'll just get the bus from Ekamai I suppose. The road near Bang Na goes really high, assumign that there are no issues down Sukhumvit.

I think the only bit of the whole Ekamai - Pattaya Nua bus route that is likely to flood is the 300m on Sukhumvit between the Highway 7 exit ramp and Pattaya Nua!
