chinook
Looks like he's in trouble this time for freaking Bangkok residents out by taking it upon himself to issue evacuation alerts to Bangkok. Bangkok Governor tells public to ignore Science and Technology Minister, which is the best idea I've heard all week. Bpuumike
Pure comedy! It's reassuring that the YUK, at least, has come on in leaps and bounds since Eggwina Currie

pitrevie
I see the prime minister (the real one) has called for an "integrated water management system" whatever that means and it will only cost 400 billion baht according to the figures on the back of this envelope. Reminds me of the old Labour politician who said that all you had to do was announce that what was needed was a socialist education policy and everyone would cheer, much the same whatever country you are in meaningless phrases trotted out. My favourite word is HUB, I forget how many times this or that is going to be turned into a HUB, what's a HUB? Ijustwannateach
I hope the meaningless promises they are likely to deliver won't be in the old, tired form of 'Prime Minister promises to ban flooding (traffic, drugs, crime, pollution, nose-picking, etc.) from the city in 15 months!' Kananga
Singapore caught the HUB craze a few years back. First they were going to be a media hub. Then it was an Art hub. Then a bio science hub. Now its an overpriced, overrated, over populated hub.
