Due To The Flood, Is It Still Possible To Take Coach From Bkk To Aranyaprathet ( Cambodia )?

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

Due to the current flood crisis, Is it still possible to take coach from Bkk to Aranyaprathet ( Cambodia ) ?

Need to extend my visa tho. Thanks in advance!

I made the trip on Friday without any problems. As far as I could tell when I went, none of the main roads/highways in that direction were in danger of being flooded

I was just out on Hwy 305, the Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok road, and saw a couple of tour buses labeled for Aran, so looks like they're going.

Also saw a bunch of Korat, Buri Ram, Udorn, Ubon, and others which are using this road as a bypass to get up to the northeast.

Went today and the roads were dry.

It did seem as though I was travelling with huge lakes either side at times though so the roads may not be dry for long. The water under the bridge on the border is only about 1 1/2 foot away overflowing.

Hi gary!

any updates? just askin' 'cause my mates need to make a visa run as well. Thanks.

Flood waters have eased right back in Prachinburi & Srakaew province, so as long as you make it out of Bkk you should be flood free for the rest of the journey to Aran/Poipet.

I was out on Hwy 305 this morning between Klongs 7 & 10, amongst all the tour buses headed to the NE & North, did see one for Aran, and lots of the white "lot prachamthang" vans heading to where-ever.

Thanks for the info guys ;)

Does anyone know the flooding situation for hwy 305? I'd like to head out that way via Kanchanapiskek and go to Nakhon Nayok. If necessary I could go via Lum Luka.

Any help is much appreciated.

My petrol truck runs from the storage depot at Lum Looka everyday, and the driver hasn't reported any flooding as of yesterday.
