Where To Buy A Fridge?

Featured Replies

I am in need of a fridge ideally with a freezer compartment. Doesn't have to be anything special and second hand would be fine so long as it's in full working order. This is the kind of thing I would use ebay back home for.

classifieds section of TV would be an obvious first place to look.

Just go to tesco or big c. They will deliver.

New fridges are pretty cheap over here.

I guess you must be new to Thailand, they are everywhere. As said, Tesco, Big C, Makro, Home pro, umpteen local electrical retailers.

ride around your local area and look for repair shops.. fridges start from 1,500b

Anyone has a suggestion for a dedicated freezer, that I can stock up with steak and lamb chops etc etc? Anyone selling one?

makro sell them

A fridge !?!

And strenght to not visit it everyday

By the way, even located in the basement, it's completely waterproof and maybe one of the dry/humid and temperature controlled place in Nonthaburi cool.gif

Escorted tour ?

Big C seems to have the best prices and free delivery and pickup. Mine is 7 years old and not one problem yet.

Buy one of these blue boxes and store your daily ice cubes you buy at the local mom&pop shop, better than second hand crap. :whistling:

I think you must have many friends :-)

Or as it is still full you may always put the carpet over it when someone visits :-)

!!!!!Envy!!!!!

We were going to buy at one of the local shops, but then we saw Big c or Tesco sometimes have the promotions where every 800 baht you spend you get 80 baht coupon (or something similar). And the price was the same, or cheaper.

In my case, they capped it at 5 coupons for the refrigerator :(, otherwise, we would have gotten 11 or 12 coupons. Free delivery same or next day. Make a photocopy of the receipt as the regular receipt paper ink fades quickly, although usually for big purchases like that they actually draft up a printed purchase order.

Had a problem with my freezer 2 months after. GF called and they brought replacement to the house and took old one. Just had to clean the inside of the old one.
