Featured Replies

hi you lot can anyone help, my daughter went thia in june she went on tourist visa, she as now got a none imm b visa she as found a job,her work permit is being prossed now in bankok, does he still have to cross boarder every 3 month with her having work permit?

Yes, the work permit is to permit work, it has nothing to do directly with immgration. She will need to apply for an annual, one year "Extension of Stay" based on employment, then she will just have to do an address report every 90 days, not exit the country.

cheers for that not sure of all the inns and outs of the job all i know she went on tourist visa found a job ko-lanta,her boss then went with her to malasia, got her non imm visa, aug 8th none imm visa, her work permit is being done as we speak.her boss told her she wont have to boarder jump if she as work permit, just a worried dad trying to get infomation

She only has to keep her eye on the date in the stamp: "Permitted to stay until ................. ".

Only if she also obtains a one year extension of stay from Immigration can she avoid leaving after 90 days. So be sure she is aware of that. There will be a stamp in her passport and that will indicate when she must leave.
