Can anybody who has been there recently tell me what papers I have to give when I apply for a single entry non immigrant O marriage visa.

if i am not mistaken it should be:

1 my passport

2 passport photo's (2)

3 copy of marriage certificate

4 copy of wife's id card signed by her

5 copy of bankbook with 100.000 baht on it

On the website of the embassy in PP they say that beside's the copy of the wife's id card I should also bring a copy of her family record book. What are they talking about?

They mean the (blue) household registration book, where in she is registered as living. The Tabien baan.

IFor a single entry there is no need to show 100,000 baht. If you want a multiple entry non-O you can go to Savanakhet in Laos.
