Non-Imm O - Marriage

Hi all,

I have just recently got married, and was wondering if anyone would be so kind to answer some of my visa enquiries...

I have been living in Thailand on and off for the last 5 years on tourists visa, never had any problems until my last trip to KL. They looked at my passport and said you can only have 3 tourist visas a year (I found this odd because they had issued my last 4 back to back visas, and I can find no information anywhere backing this claim up on any official website.). I didn't really care because I knew I was getting married any way. Any way, what I want to know is - is better/easier to go to KL or Penang? I think I am unlikely to get a 1 year one because I can't show my bank details, will they issue the 90 days with no problems just with my wife's ID/house reg/marriage cert.....will I need anything else?

The single entry should not be a problem. Most people recently have reported being able to receive multi entry from Savannaket, Laos without funds.
