Vit77
Maybe stupid question but I can't send a picture attachment together with a text message. It shows "sending" and the recipient doesn't receive anything. Same with receiving text message with the attachment. It shows "downloading" - but that's all, nothing is downloading Mobile: Samsung Galaxy S II Provider: AIS, I use 1-2-Call card Wi-Fi: it's ON 3G: it's OFF I tried to check the settings, but have no idea they're correct or not. MMSC, MMS proxy, MMS port, MCC, etc.. are originally set up already. Any idea? Probably the solution is really simple - just I've never needed to send any MMS
saintofsilence
Have you contacted the provider to make sure you are subscribed for mms.
Vit77
Have you contacted the provider to make sure you are subscribed for mms. No, just bought the phone and have no idea I need to "subscribe for MMS". Thought it's as simple as with SMS
Vit77
OK, now I have package of 5 MMS. So I think I subscribed for it. And it's still showing: "Sending".
Somtamnication
Create an apn for only mms. Scroll down to MULTIMEDIA and input. AIS mms
sfokevin
Check your APN settings - I would manually enter them into your phone. AIS should have a support page telling you what to enter in the APN setup http://www.ais.co.th/vas/smartphone/ Edited October 28, 2011 by sfokevin
petedk
I had the same problem. I've always used Nokia before and MMS messages were just sent and received automatically. The guy at AIS said that I had to activate the "data network mode". Hey presto I could send and receive MMS. Wifi doesn't work for MMS. DON"T FORGET TO DEACTIVATE otherwise you will get a hefty phone bill unless you have a good data plan. Edited October 28, 2011 by petedk
Digitalbanana
>3G: it's OFF That would be the problem there. You need data services on for MMS. Also may need to activate data services with AIS is you have never done so.
