Another transport related question.

We have now arranged to fly to Sukhothai instead of staying in Bangkok as we'd originally planned.

We will stay two nights, November 8 and 9, for sure, but we need to be in Chiang Mai for around 1000 on Nov 10 for our pre-arranged onward travel to the Elephant Nature Park and aren't sure whether to set off that day or the day before.

Does anyone know the bus schedules? We ideally need one late on the night or early in the morning, so as not to miss the Loy Krathong festivities in Sukhothai.

The second link has a phone number for the bus station which ideally you should try calling for definitive and up-to-date information.

p.s. The Loy Krathong show in Sukhothai is wonderful... thinking of going there myself again this year
