dagling
Easy rider: After 56 years and 700,000 miles it's finally time to sell my motorbike... for £40,000 By Daily Mail Reporter When Stuart Jenkinson paid £385 for his Vincent Black Prince motorcycle in 1955, he thought he would only keep it for a year before swapping it for a car. But now, after a 56-year romance on the road that saw them travel more than 700,000 together, Mr Jenkinson, 83, is finally going to part with the bike he calls 'Vinnylonglegs'. You will find rest of the story if you look at the photo... Edited November 2, 2011 by dagling

xen
I have seen quite a few Vincints but never one of those. Should go to a museum so it is not lost to future generations . Over a Million kms too - not too many bikes can boast that .

As a museum piece it ought to also contain as much information and history of the guy who owned it and rode it all these years. It's a great shame he won't be riding it any more but it's good that it's all for the right reasons unlike many of the tragic cases over here.
