Animal Hospital overflowing with cats and dogs

PATTAYA: -- The flooding in Bangkok had led to a huge number of dogs and cats in Pattaya, this is according to a vet named Phadet Siridamrong from the Nernphlubwaan Animal Hospital.

He told our reporter that he has a total of 160 animals under his care in the crowded hospital and that since the end of September there had been a continuous flow of flood victims leaving their pet cats and dogs at the hospital.

He went on that he normally charged 120-150 for each pet but many of the owners had no money therefore he had no option but to take care of them for free.
