80,000 Baht A Reasonable Price For An Ford Aspire ?

Hi all,

Currently I don't have a car, but it could be useful to have one for some local driving, shopping etc.

Now, my exwife have an old Ford Aspire with 199,000 km on the odometer, the condition may not be the best, but the engine works flawlessly, the aircon is ok too. Both the side windows cannot be lowered, but that is a minor concern, I think.

She wants to sell it for 80,000 Baht, what do you think of that price ?

I have not been looking around for other second hand cars, since there are no price tags on them anyway, so I am not sure, "how much car" you can get for that small amount of money.

Years ago I have had new cars, but since I am now on my own in Thailand and don't stay here all year around I don't like to invest in a brand new car.

Your opinion please.

Also go to taladrod.com to see what private sellers are asking a few on there appear tidy for around that price you can roughly guage your condition against the theirs, it's now a lady's car so they will like pretty pretty all working that's even if they want one so you may struggle.
