I've been using 28800888 taxi dial up for several years. They provide a metered taxi from your door for 20THB. Are there any good alternatives with safe and reasonable cars at metered rather than high end limousine rates? The 28800888 service which I have used for years, was unacceptable recently on safety.

I am near Saphan Khwai BTS - the number I use for taxis (I got it from the office at my apartment block) is 028759995.

I have been using this service for the last two years and no problems. They store your phone number so when you call and give them your phone number they already have the address. They charge 20 baht booking fee.

The taxis are metered taxis and I have never had any safety problems.

Thanks guys, 28800888 is now off by list. Driver was arrogant, dangerous and there was no ID photo in cab when he turned up.
