Hi,

Can anyone tell me if Bangkok city are planning fireworks for the King's celebrations on 5th December? I am sorry if this seems petty considering the problems some people must be experiencing in the city. Also I know the airport is open and it is possible to get into the city (we will be staying near Khaosan) but is it possible to get out to Cha Am from the city?

Yes to your first question. Chaam should be ok depending on rama 2 flood situation but that's 3 weeks away so should be ok by then if it does close in the coming days.
