Looking For Second Hand Car

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Just before I go out and start looking, is anyone able to tell me what I would get in the second hand car market for say 300K?

What are the best places in Bangkok to look (apart from our gracious sponsors at expat motors)?

300K should get you a 1000/1 model Toyota Soluna, 1.5L with auto box, or equivalent Honda City. Relialbe motors, not very flash, but will do their job well.

Shop around the tents and see what you can find.

Cheers!

Some also on http://www.bahtsold.com

best 'deals' tend to go rather quickly tho.

New search function, online edit/delete and much more, coming Dec 1st.

There are some good deals to be had BUT if you don't want to be had:

- before considering buying second hand direct from owner, one should know the reg rules as it applies to foreigners in LOS, have a trusted pro assist if in doubt and have the vehicle/parts/engine/odometer, registration etc, etc, etc, thouroughly checked first course.

Comments/pratfalls, Andy?

A huge list springs to mind but will leave it to the pros to comment.
