Non 0 For Reason Of Thai Wife At (Savankhet Lao)

Hi All,

Does anybody know if I could get a multiple entry NON O visa in Savanhket Laos at what documents they would require. I am Married to a Thai national.

Typical documents for this type of visa would be:

Copy of Marriage Certificate

Copy of Wifes' ID card

Copy of Wifes Tabien Bahn

Your passport

Copies of front page passport

Everything signed by Wife and a note from her asking for the visa for you, this is not required but will help.

Application form & appropriate fee.

There have been reports that Savanakhet do not require any financial evidence although you would need to check this out and satisfy yourself.

Pinball. I did a report about this two weeks ago. You might want to try to look at that one, but they required ORIGINAL wedding certificate, wife's house book and passport copy (or National ID card copy), and my passport. There is a little shop across the street from the Consulate where they fill out the form for you and make necessary copies. We were told to bring proof of 200,000 Baht in a bank account, but no one asked for it when we arrived. I didn't a letter from my wife, as I brought her with me.

All in all, it took 10 minutes to drop off the application and copies. You get a little receipt with a number and the next day you go back, they call your number and pickup your passport. Easy peasy.

I'd still recommend the Savan Casino/Hotel as the safest (in terms of quality) place to stay.
