Iranian victim of Pattaya Beach transsexual pickpocket gang

PATTAYA: -- Transsexual pickpocket gangs continue to cause problems on Pattaya Beach. In the early hours of Wednesday, An Iranian tourist became the latest victim and was robbed of 740 Baht in front of Soi 13/1. Mr. Davood Zobeivi aged 28 was able to detain one of three suspects who were involved in the theft and according to the victim, the three transsexuals surrounded him and asked if they could accompany him to his room. The distraction allowed one of the suspects to take the cash from his trouser pocket. The money was handed on to another gang member who fled the scene. The detained suspect, who was found to be carrying Mr. Zobeivi’s money, hidden inside his underwear, was Khun Sontaya aged 25 who was taken to Pattaya Police Station.
