Suspect caught following Korean necklace snatch in South Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- Pattaya Police arrested a 21 year old man on Wednesday Night accused of stealing a gold necklace from a Korean resident of Pattaya as he drove home on his motorbike. Khun Nutgiti was arrested in South Pattaya following the necklace snatch which occurred inside the Shell Petrol Station on the South Pattaya Road. The victim, Mr. Chee Dong aged 30 from South Korea confirmed the suspect was the man who took the necklace as he filled-up his bike with Petrol and he was therefore charged with aggravated theft. However, during interrogation, Khun Nutgiti confessed to being involved in a further necklace snatch which occurred in front of Foodland Supermarket on the night of 19th November. An ID parade was organized whereby the victim of that particular crime pointed out the suspect, confirming the confession was accurate.
