good morning wonderful people..... my girlfriend is travelling to Kohn Kaen today..... does anyone know is mo chit open? are the buses running smoothly??

Mochit2 has never been closed-just a tiny scroll down would have given you enough other same-same posts. BUt; some roads into have been flooded-this has mostly gone by now.

IF that would be smooth busride-this is Thaild and you never know-there may still be diversions, hilarious passing of flooded sections or whatever. Once you pass Khao Yai it should be back to normal.

I still wonder why all these posters talking about their so dearly missed Thai girlfriends are able to read or find things on their own? Boyfriend lovers seem much more able to.

our lass saw it on thenews yesday that mochit was closed and buses running from the southern bus station, but i will take your word for it......

Travelled from Mo Chit to Korat on Fri 25th. At Mo Chit very few people about , only a few buses running due low demand . Buses parked up everywhere. Dep Mo Chit 10.00 , then diverts away from the Don Moung area . As the Bus approaches Thammast Uni ( rangsit ) we see some areas swamped with water . 3 spots of flooding on roadway in this area, and a short time later 1 major area of flooding with police directing traffic. The road is clear from then on - but less Trucks and Buses on the road. Saraburi turn off arr 11.45. Korat arr 13.45
