Making New Id Card For A Thai National

They go to their local amphur with their blue house book, if they have moved they should get their name on the blue house book (tor bor 14) and then go to the local amphur where a new id card can be issued. Have no ideas re flooding as I am not in Bangkok.

visit the BMA centers at BTS Siam or Morchit to renew the IDs; they opened from 10 to 6; IDs are valid for 9 years

Just confirming my wife got a new ID card from here only a few months ago. We were doing other stuff for our visa and saw the office at BTS Siam (The north western most exit—from memory). processed in minutes. She isn't Bangkok native.
