Not to seem weird or anything, but I was trying to research what the Thai criminal code said was the maxiumum criminal sentence for various crimes. It seems that the sentences that I have seen varies, and I just want to know what the law actually is. Does anyone know what the maximum prison sentence that can be imposed for the following crimes:

1. murder

2. involuntary manslaughter

3. lese majeste

4. assault

5. robbery

6. automobile/motorcycle theft

7. statutory rape

8. Possession of controlled drugs

9. Sales of controlled substance

10. DUI

*Note to moderators, I am not advocating the commissioning of a crime; I just want to know what the maximum criminal sentence is under Thai law.

On that note are any of those law's not going to result in automatic deportation?

Some folks on here make out it's automatic deportation following conviction and time served for minor offences?!
